Games Galore~ The Old and the New

~CLASS OF HEROES~
So I've been playing this dungeon crawler on the PSP called Class of Heroes, and BOY is it HARD. Especially since I'm not used to dungeon crawlers. In fact, I think it's safe to say this is my first real dungeon crawler and HELLS YEA it's fun. Despite it being HARD. Well, the first few levels are hard, because you may run into enemies that are a LOT stronger than you. But after getting to level 7 or so the game runs a lot more smoothly. But getting to level 7 isn't that easy, what with little EXP and MONEY. Seriously, VERY LITTLE MONEY. Best way to get money when you're starting out is to form a party and gather all their money to one character. HOHO. OH! And also collect all their equipment that you don't need and SELL THEM OFF. Hehe. And uh keep the daggers so your front line characters can dual wield and and uhm UPGRADE YOUR EQUIP. WOOTS!!! I haven't finished the game yet, but I managed to unlock all the labyrinths (except the Sky Gate) and I can visit the other two schools. OH and I can also enroll students in one other school, forgot which. Fun game. =D But hard. And don't expect much from graphics because you don't get to see your characters fight AT ALL. But it's still a surprisingly engrossing game. =D
~DISCWORLD 2- Mortality Bytes~
So I have this OTHER game, really really old, called Discworld 2. Discworld is this fictional world created by this amazingly witty author Terry Pratchett. (Seriously, go read his books!) So anyway this game plays like any other puzzle point and click adventure thingies. LOL. No battles. It's kinda like those Monkey Island, Broken Sword kinda games. (Broken sword!! Go play!! LOL) I just started this game but I love it. For those who've read the book, you play as the completely inept bumbly wizard Rincewind accompanied by the Luggage. You'll explore the wonderful Discworld, starting with the heavily polluted and populated Ankh-Morpork. You get to explore the Shades, the Docks, the Fool's Guild and Unseen University. After a LONG but wonderfully funny introduction you get to control Rincewind and thus your guest begins. What quest would that be, you ask. Well DEATH is missing! The wizards want to conduct a ritual to summon him but they require certain items and it's your job as Rincewind to collect said items. Of course there's more to this game than just that (I think, I just started LOL) when one thing leads to another. This game is I think based off the book about Holy Wood. I forgot which. I read his collection about 4-5 years ago, so my memory is a bit fuzzy but I do remember Granny Weatherwax, the Arch chancellor, the Librarian, Windle Poons, Foul Ole Ron and many many more whom you'll meet in this wonderful, (how many times have I used that word already?) colorful game! PLUS they have SUCH adorable British accents and the puns are MAGIC. =D
