Swell...Swelling... Swollen...?

My cheeks are slightly swollen. It's been a few days now, about 4 days since I got my wisdom teeth extracted. It wasn't as bad as I'd thought it would be. Getting knocked out was pretty damn cool. I just didn't like the fact that I had to have the IV needle thingy in my vein for the whole day. That was...Kinda stinging.

So anyway after the whole numbness deal, my jaw doesn't feel too bad. It just feels kinda sore and restricted, but no pain. I guess I'm lucky? Eating is a bit of a problem, I can't quite chew, so I just swallow everything. That also means I can only eat soups, porridge, baby food... Yea mom actually bought baby food (and my bro sniggered. >.>). Actually, baby food doesn't taste too bad, just get the fruity ones, they have this natural sweetness to them.

The bleeding stopped on the 3rd day for me. Uhm, I don't think I bled too much...

So anyway now my jaw is a little more free, I can move it about more and now I can kinda smile. Really missing the ability to chew. And definitely missing the taste of meat. *sigh* Can't believe mom made burgers, fries and onion rings today... >.> Man I can't wait to be able to frigging eat again. Seriously.

So on Friday I'm getting my stitches out. I hope I can sorta eat by the weekend coz my cousin is getting married. And weddings=food. For now, brushing my teeth is kinda odd, I just get this nervous feeling like I'd accidentally brush too hard and open something up somewhere LOL. So I brush real carefully, after breakfast (so I can just brush and rinse with mouthwash at the same time) and once more before bed.

The only complain I have is this really weird taste of thread/twine/string thingy in my mouth... Is this normal? lol. I dunno, I really hate this taste. It's really just a slight hint, and only occurs when I yawn or breathe out through my mouth but I really hate this taste... >.>

Anyway, my meds are finishing soon, so I hope the swelling goes down. Also, gotta start practicing baking good cupcakes for my cousin's wedding. ^^v Too bad I probably can't EAT THEM... BAH that's what brothers are for anyway. XP
